Why it helps
The AI analysis is always tied to the exact vehicle, and a mechanic returning to a car sees its ongoing cases and invoices in one place instead of re-entering the vehicle.
Every diagnostic in WrenchLane starts with the car. You pick the vehicle on Start, and the vehicle page shows a set of action cards. The Diagnostic card opens the diagnostic form for that exact car.
The same card also lists ongoing diagnostics for the car and links to its latest invoice, so when the car comes back you pick up where you left off instead of entering it again.
How to
- Open Start
- Select your vehicle by plate, VIN or model, or click a car in History
- On the vehicle page click the Diagnostic card ('Get AI-powered diagnostic analysis')
- In the card menu choose New diagnostic, or open earlier work: View ongoing diagnostic, View diagnostic, View ongoing repair, View invoice or See more
Good to know
- You need to be signed in and have a vehicle selected before you can open a diagnostic.
- On the Free plan, history shows your last 5 ongoing diagnostics. Full history is available on paid plans.
