Why it helps

No manual typing of long code lists from a scan tool.

Got a long list of codes on your scan tool? Take a photo of the screen, or upload one, and WrenchLane reads the fault codes and their descriptions into the diagnostic form. No retyping, and you keep your current scanner.

How to

  1. Open the diagnostic form
  2. Click the camera button by Error codes and take or choose a photo

Good to know

  • Only JPEG and PNG images are supported.
  • If no codes can be read from the photo, you see 'No error codes detected from the image.'
  • Available on every plan.
What equipment do I need?

A computer, tablet or phone with an internet connection, in the browser or in the WrenchLane app. You keep your own OBD reader: type the codes, say them, or take a photo of the reader's screen.
