Why it helps
Turns a list of causes into a concrete test plan and records what was found, so the repair and invoice reflect real findings.
Every cause comes with 'Checks to run': step-by-step checks that say what to look for (Expected), each with a Yes or No answer. Your answers are saved with the car and feed into the repair guide.
On paid plans the checks are researched for your exact car. On the Free plan you see the diagnosis's own draft checks, with an option to get vehicle-verified checks by upgrading.
How to
- Expand a cause (the top cause opens by default)
- Under CHECKS TO RUN click a numbered check to expand it
- Use the toggle 1 Locate / 2 Verify / 3 Repair
- Under Verify, read the EXPECTED value and the tool, then answer Yes or No
- Choose 3 Repair to open the repair guide for that cause
Good to know
- Vehicle-researched checks need a paid plan (One, Small or Large). Free shows draft checks and a 'Get vehicle-verified checks' upgrade prompt.
- Values that are not OEM-verified are marked AI-estimated. When no source confirms an expected value, it is left out rather than guessed.
- If many checks are requested at once you may see 'Too many research requests. Try again in a few minutes.'
- Causes that are not electrical or mechanical (for example fouling, fluids, pneumatics or software) do not get pin-level component tests.
- Each check has three steps: Locate (where the part is), Verify (what to measure and the expected result, answered Yes or No) and Repair (opens the repair guide).
