Why it helps
Turns the diagnosis into billable, customer-ready work text in seconds and closes the case, which also tells WrenchLane what the real cause was.
When the job is done, click Finish on the diagnostic. In 'Complete diagnostic' you tick the causes that were fixed or confirmed, or describe the actual cause if none of them matched. List the parts replaced and anything else you did, then click 'Complete & generate invoice'.
WrenchLane writes the invoice text for you. You can edit, copy and save it, and open it again later from the vehicle page with 'View invoice'. Closing the case also tells WrenchLane what the real cause was.
How to
- On a diagnostic result click Finish (Slutför)
- In Complete diagnostic (Slutför diagnos) select causes under 'What was the problem?' or 'None of these - something else'
- Fill Parts replaced (Bytta delar) and What else was done? (Vad gjordes mer?)
- Click Complete & generate invoice (Slutför & skapa faktura)
- Use Edit, Copy or Save on the Invoice text (Fakturatext)
Good to know
- Completed diagnostics become read-only and show the banner 'This is a completed diagnostic'.
- Only the person who owns the diagnosis can complete it.
- A labour line is required whenever there is a labour figure.

Can WrenchLane write the invoice for me?
Yes. Click Finish on the diagnostic, tick the causes you fixed (or describe the real cause), list parts replaced and other work, then click Complete & generate invoice. You get invoice text you can edit, copy and save to paste into your billing system, and you can reopen it later from the vehicle page with View invoice.
