Some workshops start on a paid plan as a trial, set up by our sales team or through a partner programme. A banner on every page counts down the days left and asks you to add a payment method.
If no card is added, the trial ends and the workshop moves to the Free plan.
How to
- Trial banner on any page > Add payment method
- Or Menu > Profile > Plan & billing > Add payment method
Good to know
- There is no self-serve free trial; trials are set up only by our sales team or through a partner programme.
- The banner changes colour as the end date gets closer.
- Any discount given during the trial applied to the trial only; standard pricing applies afterwards.
- Only the workshop admin can add the payment method.

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?
No. Paid plans are charged from the first day; there has been no self-serve free trial since 26 August 2026. The One plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee, and every paid plan can be cancelled anytime. Trial periods are only set up by the WrenchLane sales team or through a partner programme, and a banner then counts down the days.
