Free (limited) is the plan every new workshop starts on. It is meant for testing a limited part of WrenchLane on real cars, with no card needed.
You get a small daily allowance of diagnostics, AI chat messages, AI searches and licence plate lookups, plus TSB search, diagnostic reports and your last 5 ongoing diagnostics in History. In supported countries there is also one fully unlocked demo vehicle so you can see the premium technical data in action.

- The new workshop starts on Free automatically
Good to know
- 1 user per workshop. If a workshop moves down to Free, other team members are locked until the plan is upgraded.
- Daily allowance: 1 diagnostic, 3 AI chat messages, 10 AI searches and 1 licence plate lookup per day.
- Limits count per workshop, not per user, and reset at midnight UTC (not local midnight).
- History shows your last 5 ongoing diagnostics.
- No premium vehicle data on your own cars: no Images & diagrams, no InfoPro technical data and no verified measurements (AI-estimated values only). The demo vehicle is the exception.
- The demo vehicle is available in InfoPro countries (EU, EFTA and UK) and Motor countries (US, Canada, Mexico).
- Verification checks need a paid plan.
- Finish the Get started checklist to unlock 7 days of higher limits, once per workshop (where the checklist is available).
