Answers to common questions about billing and plans
Free, One, Small and Large, with monthly or yearly billing on the paid plans. Free lets you try a limited part of WrenchLane; One is for a single user with one fully unlocked vehicle; Small and Large are for workshop teams of up to 11 users, with premium data for 50 (Small) or 200 (Large) vehicles a month.
What does the Free plan include?
Each day: 1 diagnostic, 3 chat messages and 10 AI searches, plus TSB search, diagnostic reports, the 5 latest ongoing diagnostics in History and the demo vehicle. Free is for 1 user and shows AI-estimated values instead of premium technical data.
What is the difference between Small and Large?
They have the same features and both allow up to 11 users. The only difference is premium data: 50 vehicles a month on Small, 200 on Large.
Who is the One plan for?
For a single user who mostly works on one car: unlimited diagnostics, chat and AI search, full history, and one vehicle permanently unlocked with its premium data and verified measurements. One does not include team members. Your first payment is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every new workshop starts on the Free plan without a card. You only add a card when you buy a paid plan.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes, on the One plan: if you contact us within 14 days of your first payment, you get it back in full. The refund also cancels the subscription and you continue on the Free plan. It applies once per business and not to renewals. One bought in the iPhone app is refunded through Apple. Small and Large are charged from the first day, can be cancelled anytime and have no money-back guarantee. Full terms
Can I switch to another plan?
Yes. In Plan & billing click Change plan and Switch plan on the plan you want, then confirm. A change that takes effect later is shown with its date and can be undone with Cancel scheduled change; switching is blocked if your team is larger than the new plan allows.
How do I cancel?
In Plan & billing click Change plan and Downgrade to Free on the Free card, then confirm. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and until then you can click Undo cancellation. Remove all team members first.
What happens if a payment fails?
You keep access while we retry the payment. If it still fails, the subscription is cancelled and the workshop moves to the Free plan. To avoid that, update your card in Plan & billing.
