Remote programming, now in WrenchLane
WrenchLane 3.10 is now available with three new features: remote coding and programming through our new partner AutoRemote, a guided tour for new users, and labor times the way your workshop counts them.
Remote programming with AutoRemote
When a cause or a repair step needs coding, programming, an adaptation or a factory-tool reset, WrenchLane now shows an AutoRemote card right on that cause and inside the repair step.
Already an AutoRemote customer? Book your time and we send the job along: vehicle, fault codes and the work to be done. New to AutoRemote? Send a short enquiry and they take it from there.
AutoRemote is our remote programming partner. They own the service, the hardware and the invoice. Available on every plan in the European countries AutoRemote covers.
Guided tour for new users
New accounts get a guided tour through choosing a vehicle, running a diagnostic and asking WrenchLane, with a checklist that tracks progress.
Replay it any time from Settings, handy when a new colleague joins the workshop.
Labor times in hours or periods
Show repair times as hours and minutes or as periods, whichever your workshop counts in. The toggle sits right next to the repair times.
Add a percentage markup on book times and it carries through to the invoice, so you bill exactly the times you saw on screen.
