From diagnosis to completed repair – Release 3.7

WrenchLane 3.7 extends the diagnostic workflow all the way through the repair. Once a cause is confirmed, technicians can open the relevant repair procedure, follow the work step by step, see labor time and required parts, and complete the job without leaving the workflow.

Diagnosis now leads directly into the repair

The biggest update in Release 3.7 is the new repair workflow.

When a cause has been confirmed, WrenchLane takes you directly to the relevant repair procedure, including:

  • Official repair information
  • Step-by-step work instructions
  • Individual repair steps that can be checked off as work is completed
  • Labor time
  • Required parts
  • A complete record of the finished repair

The result is one continuous workflow from identifying the fault to completing the repair.

A dedicated AI chat for every vehicle

Every vehicle now has its own WrenchLane chat.

The chat follows the vehicle across diagnostics, repairs and service history, giving the AI context about both the vehicle and the work already carried out.

You can ask questions such as:

“What was repaired last time?”
“What is the labor time for this job?”
“Which components have already been checked?”

Instead of starting from scratch every time, WrenchLane keeps the vehicle context together.

Vehicle history, all in one place

History is now organized by vehicle rather than by individual activity.

Each vehicle card is identified by registration number or VIN and shows the latest recorded mileage. Open the vehicle to see its ongoing diagnostics, completed repairs and service history in one place.

This makes WrenchLane not only a tool for finding the fault, but a continuously updated technical record of the vehicle.
